Our website uses cookies. Technically necessary cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. All other cookies are only set with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your cookie consent at any time.

Privacy-Friendly Website Statistics (Internal Analytics)

This website uses privacy-friendly, self-hosted page-view statistics, with no external analytics services. The following data is collected per page view:

  • Page path visited
  • Referring URL (if provided by browser)
  • Browser language setting
  • IP address, anonymised to /24 prefix (last IPv4 octet set to 0; last 64 IPv6 bits zeroed). Re-identification is not possible.

No cookies are set for this purpose. No browser fingerprinting or user-agent storage takes place. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in improving our service). Anonymised statistics are automatically deleted after 90 days.

Contact Forms and Session Requests

If you send us enquiries via a contact form or session request, your details, including the contact information you provide, will be stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent. Contact data is retained until the enquiry is resolved, and for a maximum of two years.

Special Categories of Data (Health Data)

In the course of therapy and counselling requests, you may share information about your health or mental state. This data falls under the special categories of personal data pursuant to Art. 9 GDPR. We process such data exclusively with your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR) or where necessary for the provision of healthcare (Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR). Ronya Tillenburg is bound by professional confidentiality. All information entrusted to us is treated strictly confidentially.

4. Online Appointment Booking (Calendly)

For online appointment booking we use Calendly (Calendly LLC, 271 17th St NW, Suite 1000, Atlanta, GA 30363, USA). When you book an appointment, your data (name, email, any additional details) is transmitted to and processed by Calendly. Calendly is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. 5. Online Video Sessions (Jitsi Meet)

We use Jitsi Meet for online therapy and counselling sessions. The public service is operated by 8x8, Inc. (675 Creekside Way, Campbell, CA 95008, USA) at meet.jit.si. The video connection is end-to-end encrypted. No account or app installation is required. Sessions are not recorded by us. For more information, see the 8x8/Jitsi Privacy Policy.

6. No-Recording Policy for Therapy & Counselling Sessions

Praxis Lichtlinie takes the confidentiality of all therapy and counselling sessions very seriously. The following applies to every session format, whether video call, phone call, or in-person appointment:

  • No recording by the practice: Sessions are never recorded by us in any form, neither as video, audio, nor transcript. No recordings are stored or shared.
  • No recording by clients: Recording sessions independently, by video, audio, screen capture, or any other method, is not permitted without the practice's express written consent.

This prohibition protects the therapeutic relationship, the personal rights of all parties involved, and the professional confidentiality to which Ronya Tillenburg is bound as a systemic therapist and counsellor. Unauthorised recording may have legal consequences and constitutes a serious breach of trust.

Legal basis (where session data is involved): Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) and Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR (healthcare provision).

7. Client Portal

We offer registered clients a password-protected online portal. Data processed includes login credentials, contact details, and session information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and protected by password authentication.

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights under the GDPR:
