If you send us enquiries via a contact form or session request, your details, including the contact information you provide, will be stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. In the course of therapy and counselling requests, you may share information about your health or mental state. This data falls under the special categories of personal data pursuant to Art. 9 GDPR. We process such data exclusively with your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR) or where necessary for the provision of healthcare (Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR). Ronya Tillenburg is bound by professional confidentiality. All information entrusted to us is treated strictly confidentially.
For online appointment booking we use Calendly (Calendly LLC, 271 17th St NW, Suite 1000, Atlanta, GA 30363, USA). When you book an appointment, your data (name, email, any additional details) is transmitted to and processed by Calendly. Calendly is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We use Jitsi Meet for online therapy and counselling sessions. The public service is operated by 8x8, Inc. (675 Creekside Way, Campbell, CA 95008, USA) at meet.jit.si. The video connection is end-to-end encrypted. No account or app installation is required. Sessions are not recorded by us. For more information, see the 8x8/Jitsi Privacy Policy.
Praxis Lichtlinie takes the confidentiality of all therapy and counselling sessions very seriously. The following applies to every session format, whether video call, phone call, or in-person appointment:
This prohibition protects the therapeutic relationship, the personal rights of all parties involved, and the professional confidentiality to which Ronya Tillenburg is bound as a systemic therapist and counsellor. Unauthorised recording may have legal consequences and constitutes a serious breach of trust.
